About Me

I'm Jolie, an Integrative Counsellor, Mentor and former Birth Doula, supporting people through the moments in life that ask the most of us.

Whether you're navigating grief, anxiety, relationship challenges, burnout, pregnancy, motherhood, identity shifts or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, I offer a compassionate space to pause, make sense of what you're experiencing and find a way forward.

My aim is to help you better understand yourself, reconnect with your strengths and move towards a life that feels more authentic, grounded and fulfilling.

My Journey

My path into counselling began long before I qualified as a therapist. For many years I worked as a birth and postnatal doula, supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. Witnessing people through some of life's most transformative experiences deepened my understanding of the emotional impact of change, identity, grief and relationships.

That experience naturally led me to train as an Integrative Counsellor, allowing me to offer longer-term therapeutic support to people navigating not only parenthood, but all of life's significant transitions.

Experience & Areas of Interest

Over the past fifteen years I've supported people experiencing:

  • Anxiety and emotional overwhelm

  • Grief and loss

  • Trauma and birth trauma

  • Pregnancy, motherhood and matrescence

  • Relationship challenges

  • Identity change and life transitions

  • Burnout and stress

  • Low self-esteem and self-worth

Alongside private practice, my experience includes working as a birth doula, volunteering with Wiltshire Mind, counselling with Radiant Mama CIC, facilitating women's groups and retreats, and supporting creatives, professionals, parents and solo mothers through periods of change.

What Shapes My Work

Alongside my professional training, my own experiences of love, loss, motherhood and significant life transitions have shaped the therapist I am today. While those experiences don't make me an expert on your life, they do mean I'm comfortable sitting alongside people through uncertainty, grief, change and the complexity of being human.

I believe people don't need to be fixed. Given the right support, space and understanding, we already hold the capacity to heal, grow and reconnect with ourselves. It is a privilege to walk alongside people as they do exactly that.
